TRUEXTEND signs an academic alliance agreement with UMSS University

As an initiative to aid the academic level of the Bolivian system of public universities, TRUEXTEND signed an academic alliance agreement on Oct 26th 2012 with the most recognized University of Cochabamba (UMSS). The UMSS University is by far the biggest and most prestigious university of Cochabamba and its influence in the community is undeniable, graduating thousands of computer science professionals over the last two decades.

Although UMSS University has a remarkable reputation in the area, it does not have enough funding to lunch research projects and other initiatives to innovate in the engineering fields. This is why the UMSS University receives international cooperation from countries like Netherlands or Belgium and it also receives support from the local private sector.

In this way TRUEXTEND is formally committed to aid the University to consolidate its academic level. The aid covers different areas. For instance TRUEXTEND posses the expertise and high qualified human resources to create courses on different fields of study such as: agile development, continuous integration, software testing, among others. These courses won’t have any cost for students or professors of the University.

This cooperation also covers the donation of modern bibliography to the University which will allow students and professors to have access to the latest editions of most of the important books required to have an integral education.
